This is really frustrating! I’m not the best at computers but, I know a good amount. So, I need step by step idiot proof instructions. I am trying to hook up my microphone to my computer. There were no directions with my microphone and I looked up help on my computer. There is not even an area on my computer that says microphone. I can plug it in and the computer recognizes a mic but, it won’t let it work. Please, please help.

I just upgraded my fiances computer with a new motherboard, RAM and CPU. We were previously having problems with his computer freezing so we did the upgrade. I installed everything and the computer turns on yet when I try to boot it off a CD the screen goes black after the screen that says “press any key to boot off disk” also the screen goes black after the start up screen. I would really appreciate some help. I don’t know where to go from here.

I have recently been having some problems with my computer. First the fan sputtered and stopped working. I replaced the heatsink/fan and powered it on and it is still not working. When I unplug the CPU fan, the computer boots as it normally would. What is wrong with my PC?Submited by:shinyrims78

my old external hard drive is broken, i cant acces it, but im 100% i can copy all the files on that drive and duplicate it to a new one. What software can do this. im looking for a free powerful software.

I have a brand new laptop with Vista, and it will not recognize the internal card slot. It does not appear on the “My Computer” screen. I have tried 1GB, 2GB, and 8GB SD cards of different types (that work on other computers) and the computer doesn’t even react to them. Under Device Manager, it says that the SDA Standard Compliant SD Host Controller is disabled and cannot enable, but I’m not sure if that has anything to do with the problem. Any help would be appreciated.
