How to pass something from one computer to another without a usb drive?

I have 2 computers. 1 desktop computer (Windows XP) and 1 laptop computer (Windows Vista).

And I need to know to pass a folder from the Desktop computer to the laptop. Please help.

I can’t use my USB drive because its not big enough to hold it.

I am sure this happens to many avast home users.
I currently have to be in front of my computer every time a virus is found in order to remove/delete it.
Is there a way to make this work without me there ?
Like automatically removing/quarantining infections.
I want to be able to leave it for a few hours and when i get back to be finished.
Maybe it is not possible in Home version.
What about the professional version ?
Please provide details in this important matter.
